Corrosion Protection Products
3M™ Corrosion Protection Products provides 3M™ Scotchkote™ Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Powders and Liquid Resins for corrosion protection of steel pipelines and metals
used in the oil, gas and construction markets.
We also offer a variety of 3M™ Scotchcast™ Powdered Resins for OEM electrical
insulation applications, and 3M™ ScotchMark™ Electronic Marker Systems for
locating buried utilities.
Scotchkote coatings can be applied to a variety of parts for corrosion
protection. Example applications include valves, pumps, tapping saddles,
manifolds, pipe hangars, ladders, rebar, mesh, cable and wire rope, I-beams,
column coils, anchor plates and chairs.
Scotchcast Electrical Resins provide an excellent insulation coating on
components such as motor armatures and stators, toroid cores, and bus bars.
Select resins are approved as integral ground insulation for temperatures as
high as 180 C° (class H).
Scotchcast Polyolefin Fiber for concrete reinforcement offers steel fiber
performance with the advantage of synthetic material. Unique "bundle" packaging
facilitates mixing.
